A three-stars campsite. The Val de Coise Campéole is located in a part of France where nature seems to have wanted to have the best of both worlds, when in the Tertiary Era, the Alps rose up from the lethargy of the Massif Central. The hillside campsite faces the Monts du Lyonnais, while at the same time flirting with the Monts du Forez, both of which are splendid chains of hills abundant in streams and rivers. The famous water of Badoit will ensure that you enjoy a bubbly, sparkling holiday in the town of St Galmier. The Val de Coise Campéole stretches out over a shady 3,5 hectares set between the forest and the River Coise. Because of its size and its location, the Val de Coise is absolutely ideal for children up to the age of 12, as well as for their parents, of course. Nature lovers will be in seventh heaven, here, too.

Just 2 km from St-Galmier, you can easily visit the old town, the glass-blower´s workshop, the Badoit factory, the art gallery (old town) and all of the town´s exceptional botanical heritage.

St Galmier, its open air cinema festival (early July), its glass-blower, its rose garden, its source for the famous "Eau de Badoit" (guided tours), the Monts du Forez, the Monts du Lyonnais, the Pilat Regional Nature Park, the gorges of the Loire and its beaches.
